An enthusiastic PhD graduate from University College London (UCL) School of Pharmacy, with diverse experience in mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate MSc students, especially but not limited to research and development in academic contexts. I have tutored GCE O and A level students via a tutoring provider in London, Holland Park Tuition and at my school in Kenya. All individuals were very happy with my teaching style and consequently saw an improvement in their grades.
Dissertation: explored local delivery of therapeutics (small molecules and biologics) for the treatment of eosinophilic oesophagitis where original contribution for translational use of new macromolecules was achieved.
Conceptualized MSc research projects and mentored students through their dissertations resulting in two mentees progressing to pursue a PhD. Additionally, lectured undergraduate students on behalf of PhD supervisor and carried out lab demonstrations for the MSc in Pharmaceutics programme.
Presented research via oral and poster presentations at UCL internal, national and international conferences. Won best oral presentation prize on PhD research day (September 2019).
