My name is Joel Platt and I am a current postgraduate student at Keble College, Oxford. I believe I would be an excellent tutor since I am a confident and friendly individual who is passionate about learning. I hope to pursue a career in teaching and currently hold an unconditional offer to read for a PhD in Law at Durham University.
I have performed consistently throughout my academic career. I hold an LLB (First Class Honours) and LLM (Distinction) from Durham University, and am currently reading for an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Oxford University. I have had articles published in the Durham Law Review and LSE Human Rights Blog and have recently had a paper accepted for publication from the Journal of Identity and Migration Studies. I am a confident public speaker having took part in mooting during my time at Durham. Additionally, I have experience working with children, having coached junior football for over six years.
