I am a Year 2 Bsc Biological Science student at Imperial College London. I have strong inquisitiveness enthusiasm in science especially in biology.
I aspire to insipire the students to become self motivated and enjoy what they learn. I strongly believe that students can be motivated to learn naturally because of their own interest and enjoyment in the subject or task. Hence as a tutor, I am responsible to spark students' interest towards the subjects they are learning.
My strategy is to break down large goals into small steps so students would not feel that learning is not a burden but something enjoyable. I wish to help students to define goals for their learning. Morever I would provide constructive,
specific feedback to give moral support to guide my students to do better everytime they make mistakes. As I am a patient person, I am good at explaining complicated concepts in a slow pace and in detail to ensure my students fully understand the concepts.
I am also an approachable person, and I would be a good listener should my students have any problems or concerns. I would also share my experience and perspectives being a student myself, in order to connect with and make students feel that they are being understood.
