I am a graduate from Oxford University with two, first-class degrees in English Literature. My most recent postgraduate degree saw me specialise in Romantic poetry. I have been involved in education for a number of years and in various roles. I have worked in summer schools as a catch-up teacher, taught English as a foreign language to refugees, and helped reception aged children learn to read. Since graduating I have been working as a subject tutor (in English Literature and French) at both GCSE and A-Level and as a university admissions coach, familiarising students with the application process and assisting with interview technique. I also have a strong background in marketing and communications role so I have excellent written and verbal skills and am familiar with translating dense information into digestable, user-friendly content. I also have strong interpersonal skills and find tutoring particularly rewarding. Helping students achieve their education goals is not only enjoyable but meaningful as I am committed to opening up the world of education and showing that learning changes lives.
