I am Ca Robertson, a former International School teacher and convener of University conversation classes. For over 15 years I have been teaching adults and children who want to improve their English for general, academic and business English. Specialities include exam preparation in IELTS, TOEFL and university/ high school entry exams such as 11+ and 13 +. Current and former students include business professionals, university professors, adults who want to improve their basic English and students from top local and international schools. I have a MEd in Teaching English from Oxford Brookes University and a MA in Religious Studies and Spanish from the University of Glasgow.
I will prepare interesting materials to make lessons interactive and fun. I am familiar with the curriculum of most local and international schools. Classes concentrate on what you need to learn to achieve your learning goals, whether that be negotiation skills or how to overcome habitual mispronunciation. I have many tips on how to avoid pitfalls in exams such as IELTS, SAT, 11+ and 13+.
If you need to learn English for the workplace I can prepare specialized learning material to help you get to speed as quickly as possible. Classes are suitable for students from elementary to advanced level.
