My thesis focused on tactical and strategic communications in ancient Greece. I questioned the prevailing narrative concerning my chosen topic, and succesfully argued that Greek military communications were far more effective than previously thought.

As part of my research, I was also hired as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant for my supervisor, Professor Hans van Wees. I delivered several lessons to three separate classes, and stood as primary marker for their end-term dissertations. I also delivered lectures on military history in cooperation with Professor van Wees, and held regular office hours to assist and support my students.
