I have recently finished a Master's degree at Imperial College London, where I read Applied Mathematics. This followed a BSc in Mathematics which I studied at King's College London.
I thank further maths for developing my desire to take this subject to a higher level. I found that the satisfaction gained from working through an intricate problem to a beautifully simple solution is unmatched by other topics of study. Having spent 4 successive years studying mathematics, I have been exposed to a wide variety of mathematical concepts. This diversity has given me the opportunity to explore the most elegant branches in maths, expanding my passion for this subject.
Away from academia, I enjoy working out, playing sport, listening to music and reading!
Having spent the vast majority of my life studying maths, I have found the most effective way to study this subject is by answering question after question. It is this reason why my lessons will be structured around going through past paper questions. If we are unsure about a certain topic, we will learn the content and then come back to test this new knowledge by answering questions. Not only will this allow us to revise and cover a wide variety of topics, but constantly testing what we have learnt will make us comfortable and familiar with what to expect in an exam.
